Hey guys,

This is my first post on here as I am having troubles with my dome light. I have read pretty much all of the related threads to do with this but am still a little lost.

I have checked the fuses and they are all good. Also I have taken the drivers side trim panels off to gain access to the rheostat with the dome light switch. Basically the dome light does not work at all. With the door open or with the switch in the up position. If I pull the harness off of the switch and jump the brown to the green/orange the dome light and foot well lights light up. So my assumption there is that the switch is hooped, but the dome light still does not work when the doors are opened?

any suggestions would be appreciated.

check to see with a volt meter to see if it gets power when it should be on

 

there is not power at the dome light with the switch on or off.
