nice truck man but those tires just look too small on there for my taste
I had a one inch lift in mine. I still have the blocks and bolts if your interested in them. When I did mine, all I needed was the blocks, slightly longer bolts and modified the front bumper holes on the frame a bit and that was it,
I did this too. You need the BIG blocks.
how many blocks did you need?
6 blocks for the bed, and 6 for the cab. But i still think if your gonna go through the effort you might as well just go 3".
not really that much effort with 1inch tho cause u dont have to move or extend anything just have to put longer bolts in, so ive heard

i looked online for those blocks for hoursand didnt find anything, i was about to make my own out of polyurathane but it isnt cheap. glad i found this thread
well the only thing that was hard on my body lift was getting the OE bolts out. I broke just about all of them. The extensions were the easy part. But it could be easier with a 1" bl if your just gonna leave the bumpers at stock height.
i dont see the point in a one inch lift.....i have 285's on my truck with no lift and i like the way it looks. I mean do u really think ur gonna notice an inch that much?
ya well i already have a 5inch susp lift with 33s but i want 35s and if i do a 1inch bl i dont have to clearance my fenders plus im not a fan of how bl's look anyway
i like how mine looks too but hey a 1inch body will be easy and make it look a little better and yeah m one of those people that said i would never waste my time puttin in a 1 inch body lift but now i reallized how much easier it is and cheaper and it will give me the tiny lift im going for
just crank your tbars then lol
Theres no issues with having to extend anything with a 1 inch bl?
and what issues do auto trannys have with a body lift? always wondered but never found anything on it. and sorry for the jack just figured while there is a 1 inch body lift thread i might as well ask. |
