Well i guess ill have to start a new thread for a response.
#17 Fuse want hold a new fuse, itll burst everytime.
I dont know if the fuse had busted before the ABS light came on or not.
But my CEL went off now the ABS stays on??
But the #17 fuse has nothing to do with the ABS light right??
Can i still pass inspec with a ABS light on?

 

CEL is out because fuse 17 (cig lighter and Data Link Connector) is blowing (probably a bad lighter socket, unplug it and THEN try a new fuse).

Once you get that fixed, read the codes if CEL returns.

If you want to turn off the ABS light for Inspection, pull fuse 11. If I remember correctly, you'll lose speedometer and Cruise Control while that fuse is out. If yours is RABS, not 4WABS, you COULD have low brake fluid level turning on the ABS light.

Well my abs light was on a while then 2 days ago my CEL came on....I check the fuses #17 was blown, i unhooked the battery changed fuse, reconnected battery and the CEL light went off, and ABS stayed on...

So ill check the Cig lighter, and also that sensor on the rear diff....Thank for your help, ill let know what happens

 

i just passed nc inspection with my abs light on, so u have no worries
