A f250 d44 will be leaf spring and 8 lug.

a 79 is setup with leaves.

it also has smaller hubs on it which the same as half tons. its not the large hubs like found on 76 and 77

you could weld on lower link mounts without having to do much grinding at all. i think there is enough room on the drivers side.

all 73-79 4x4 3/4 tons have leaf springs

I'm confused on the hub sizes, I don't think they are different. You can swap wheels on any 73-79 3/4 ton with each other

yeah but the hubs are different. 76 to 77.5 have the large hub that are red and say ford on them surrounded by a large piece of aluminum and have large 5/16" style allen bolts on them.

77.5-79 are similar hubs but the lockouts are like the ones found on half tons

you can swap wheels no problem they are all 8on6.5

Alright I see what you mean now, thanks for the clarification
