Icon4 2.3L Ranger loses acceleration

New member here and wanted to get y'all's opinions. I have a 2010 Ranger with a 2.3L engine and when driving it will lose acceleration for a good minute and then it will let me accelerate. Once it lets me accelerate and a little before it sounds like its popping and clanking underneath the truck. So far we have changed the fuel pump and replaced both catalytic converters. It will also lose acceleration when I am slowing down. I am not getting any codes at all. Anything will help, thanks.

Welcome to the forum

Test with Vacuum gauge
At idle you should see 18-21" of vacuum
REV engine to say 2,500rpm and hold it there for a minute or so, vacuum will drop and then come back up to 18" or so and stay there, if its starts to drop then you still have clogged exhaust
If vacuum climbs higher then you have clogged air intake

If you are not sure of the age of O2 sensor near the engine change it, they last 12 years or 100k miles, the only sensors that wear out

I think I'll change the 02 sensors first since the truck has over 200K miles if that doesn't help then I'll try the vacuum test
