A/C Issue

A/C Issue
I've got a problem with my A/C cutting in and out. When I am accelerating, (doesn't matter what speed, how much pedal) the a/c get's redirected to the defroster, and the corner vents for the door window's. Sometimes when I coast up to a light the a/c get's directed through the front vents of the radio bezel like it's supposed to.
I read this thread but I guess my problem is a bit different:

I have no clue where to start under the hood, if someone can get me pointed in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it
Thanks

you've got a vacuum leak somewhere. When accelerating you are not pulling as much vacuum at the intake, and it's bleeding off some where. When you stop the intake vacuum goes up and it's enough to overcome the leak and direct the air back to the front vents. The defroster vents are the default "no vacuum" vents. I would start by checking all your hoses for leaks under the hood, and then under the dash. Also you might want to check your vacuum canister for cracks.
