Your local dealer can check to see if the cruise control module has been replaced

 

We didn't replace the modules at the dealer, they were never part of the recall. We just added this harness with a fuse that would blow instead of burning your truck down. It connects to the the cruise control brake pedal sensor under the hood that is prone to leaking. If you have the recall you'll notice the switch on the master cylinder with a harness attached to it that has been usually zip-tied to the brake lines or the ABS controller.



The recall kits come in two versions a leaking and non-leaking. The only difference is the leaking includes the sensor that is to be replaced if it's leaking.
