Adding Driving Lights...

ok so heres the deal...im planning on getting some hella angle eyes for the front of my truck and really want to make them hidden, but so that you can still clearly see the LED rings and so they are still functional...

the place i was planning on putting them is in the gap between my valance and bumper where i have my license plate, but the diameter of the lights is 4" and the gap is a little more then 3"....

so my question is has anybody mounted simular sized lights anywhere that keeps them from sticking out against the lines of the truck, becuase i could always just have them mounted like normal offroad lights but i feel they would just look stupid then...

just to give you an idea of where i want them at....

Your could keeo it where you are talking about and trim the valance a little. It wouldn't be to noticable because it is back far enough and low enough not to be in the normal line of sight.

ive had them on the spot where you are talking... the only problem is if they are too far back, some of the light will be blocked by the plate

Ask Bob or Kris if the light tabs will work on your truck, they are only $24 or $29 with paint or bed coating, I ordered mine last night.

you can mount any size light on those and it won't look funny... or shouldn't.

^^ thats what I did, clear headlights like they shouldve done from the factory, and added mesh behind the grille- looks MUCH better.

They don't look bad on top of the bumper, imo. If you are not using the Lisence plate holder, get rid of it if you put you lights down there so it wont block the light.
