2004 Ext. Cab with door ajar and dome light stuck on
 

Suddenly my door ajar light is stuck in the on position as well as the dome light. I checked to make sure all of the doors are closing properly like 3 times. I noticed that there are no switches in the door jamb, so where are the dome/ajar switches located?

The "switches" are located in the door where the latch pivots when it hits the striker knob. get some good lube, and spray some in and on the door latch parts then open/close your door a few times. this should free up the "switches".

Yes, common issue with the latch switches on the Ford Trucks, usually a shot of lube will free up the switch.
