Ford probably thinks most people won't notice this stuff - but I noticed. The following list of deletions and production dates is as accurate as I've been able to figure out - I could be wrong. For example, Ford changed the part number of the interior wiring harness that goes to the dome light as of Nov. 2, 2004.

Cargo Light - deleted during the 2003 model year

Mud Flaps (4x2 all except 7' bed rear, 4x4 all front) - deleted during the 2003 model year, replaced by "stone guards" (I have seen a late 2003 4x2 SuperCab that was missing just the front mud flaps, so there are exceptions.)

Map Lights - deleted Nov. 2, 2004

Glove Box Light - probably deleted Nov. 2, 2004

Dual-Tone Horn - probably deleted Nov. 2, 2004, replaced by smaller single-tone horn

I used to own an early 2003 with all the above features, so when I got my '04 it was pretty disappointing. One of these days I'll post a thread listing all the deletions and the part numbers you need to install them.
