Can I put spray in bed liner in my interior?
It is kind of late of night and this may sound dumb tomorrow, but I had an epiphany when I found a DIY spray in bed liner kit. I was thinking of all the things that I could bed line when I had the genius idea of tearing up the carpet in the truck and spraying in bed liner. Can someone tell me why this wouldn't work and why I shouldn't do it. Some of the carpet in my extended cab is already missing and I figure I might as well go all the way.

Yeah you can, if you pull the drain plugs in the floor and use a stiff bristoled brush to scrub it. but water can get stuck in places and could end up causing rust problems if it isnt dried out. I havnt really noticed if it makes the cab warmer in the summer, always have the windows down or the air on. the transmission hump does get warm but not to hot to touch. There is obviously some more road noise because the padding and carpet are gone. I would recomend using something that is not as rough as herculiner, the texture makes it harder to clean.

The gallon on herculiner i think was about $80 and you have to by the cleaning agent that they say to use too. You can see in my pics that i suspended the wires while appling it but then once it was dry i put them back in place and havnt done anything to them. I only have one bundle exposed and its is right inside the drivers door.
