im not sure if its true or false yet..

EDIT: Nevermind, i found out its TRUE!!!!!!!!

this is from the ford ranger website on Ford.com

The Ranger really does get disc brakes for 2010. I'm looking at the removal and installation manual on Ford's tech service website. Looks like a good setup.

I still don't buy it. If they got disks it would be on the Media Site, it's kind of big news. This isn't the first time they have been listed as having them and didn't.

Here you go. I assume the size is gigantic, but it's the best way so you can view it.

Sweet!! I wonder if they really are vented like the picture shows. I also find it weird that there are two brake lines coming down from the frame, is that for the special brake change thing?

Interesting... that will be cool if it's true. And if it is I wonder why it wasn't mentioned, since it's kind of a big deal. Even the spec sheets show drum rear.

The Ford dealer by my office has three of them, I may swing by if the freeway is still backed up when I leave.

And the two brake lines are for the brake biased traction control and roll stability control systems. Its so that the computer can brake each wheel individually.
