2nd Foglight switch partially crapped out!
2nd Foglight switch FIXED (formerly partially crapped out!)
I just got home about maybe 10-15 minutes ago and haven't checked things yet...
The blue dash light within the 2nd OEM foglight switch I installed has apparently died.
The switch still works, so I don't think I have a blown fuse anywhere and my dash lights work. In the past when I blew a fuse related to this my cruise control wouldn't work and it did. So I'm thinking the bulb died? If so where can I get replacements and what size bulb? Griggs, if you're reading this I remember you changing out your bulbs for LED. Any suggestions, opinions, input, what-have-you would be great!

yup, the KC light up, just no blue dash light on the switch now. I do get the green bar light at the top of the switch when it's on. But again, the light that illuminates the fog light icon no light up.
Ford does not sell the bulb separately. You can replace the entire switch or do John's LED conversion.

I called the 3rd radio shack in town today. When I posted the other day they were already closed (7pm). They had the 30 ga wire, obviously. It took me 2 LEDs and 3 rewirings to finally get solid connections. My cheapie Wal-Mart soldering iron was being just that, cheap! After the 3rd wiring and testing in the truck I got the result I was after. I then took the 2nd (original) LED I had and soldered a clipping back to the positive lead to see if I had fried the LED from my iron. My test, the mini mag-lite I have. Pop the LED in and nope, still good. Oh well, so I wasted $2.13.
