3.0 issue
Hello, my 2001 ford ranger 3.0 is having some issues. Lack of power that bbn I didnt notice until after I bought it. Oil like flickers and egr code comes up. Also I think whatever is causing it might've blown a head gasket and made the heads crack. But those are changed and it's still doing it. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks

Whats the exact EGR code and any other code numbers?
Over heating the engine is the ONLY thing that can crack a head................the ONLY thing
If YOU didn't over heat it then previous owner did and he put in some "block seal" that temporarily sealed the heads, so he could sell it to you
Block seal can last 2 to 9 months if that fits the time frame
