I can hear the fuel pump kick on when I turn the key, but can the fuel relay still be going bad if the fuel pump does kick on? What exactly does the fuel relay do? Im going to check for spark and my friend told me to spray starting fluid in and see if it will start and then check the fuel filter. Thank you for your replt.

So I have pressure and itll start if I spray starting fluid in it, and it started after I shut it off after it warmed up, and I changed the fuel fiter just to see what happened, it does also have residual pressure after I shut it off.
