yeah it just says interior lights...

i will paypal someone $10 if they can help me come up with a solution to my lights.

here's some problems:

only gauge lights that work are blinkers, and highbeam indicator. only the foglight switch's on light comes on. the radio works, but no hvac control lights or 4x4 lights. i've been trying to track this down for so long but just cant fix it. everytime i think i have it, i put a new fuse in and it pops. :(

so how did you wire the radio in? it might be worth your while to buy an electrical diagram book.

I would say yep. Also check for wires that have been rubbed and or exposed since those can pop your fuse like that! *snaps fingers*

Pull the radio out of the dash and look at all the aftermarket wiring. $10 says there is a backlight wire on your aftermarket stereo that was connected to the vehicle's stock dash illumination circuit. This controls the aftermarket stero's backlights and lets it dim with the stock lights.

Either the connection is crappy and something exposed is grounding out back there, or the stero's backlighting is damaged and grounding out internally.
