Weird A/C elec. issue

OK heres whats going on when i try to turn on the AC nothing happens what so ever the blower doesnt turn on or the compressor also.Ive checked the relays, blower res,but i can get it all to come on if i jump the plug on the back of the selector switch for like max AC or whatever i jump pin #1 to #4 it all works the compressor comes on and the blower blows. But i cant turn it off or the air bag light comes on and the blower doesnt turn off also just the compressor. If anyone has a wire diagram that would help me ALOT.I even went to the junk yard to get a new/used hvac controler and samething

Well I did some more looking at it and on the switch that turns the system on where the max ac and all those settings I moved the jumper to 1and 3 and it all works like it's suposed to sooooo I still need to know why it's like that so if anyone has a wireing diagram for the ac with the cable temp change that would be great

I'm not too savy on the A/C system... have you checked to make sure the actual switch works? That's the first mechanical item that gets more wear and tear, so I'd check there.... maybe get a Ranger friend to swap the switch and see if it works?

Yea it's not the switch that's the first thing I thought also I have a spare one of those it's seems I'm missing power to one side of the switch cause it seems like it has two sides that's why I need a diagram if I had the proper one I could have it fixed in ten mins cause all the diagrams I've found the wire colors don't match up I mean not even close

IF the switch and connector had burnt wires an blown fuses, there has to be a reason.
Check the blower area to see if there is anything in there slowing down the blower, mine gets leaves in there sometimes.
if something is slowing the blower down then the resistance will increase causing extra heat, which in turn will burn wires, connectors and then your truck.

Check the blower while it is out and see if it turns free, apply 12 volts to it and see how it runs.

FIND THE REASON…
