I became the PROUD owner of a 1990 Ranger about a year ago. My FIRST FORD!! GREAT LITTLE Truck. Other day I noticed my turn signals quit Working, at the same time, I noticed, when I Press the brake pedal, not only will the Brake Lights come on, the FRONT AMBER TURN SIGNALS, and the turn signal indicators, on the dash comes on.....WTF????

Sounds like they could be related. Is it your signal flasher unit/relay/fuse that has failed or the signal arm piece? Seems like you're getting some sort of electrical feedback with a missing link in your signal system. I'd check the flasher relay, if it's like my 94', I'll be the big round one in the fuse panel.

Could be a bad Multifunction Switch in the steering column.
