4pin trailer connector gets disabled
4pin trailer connector gets disabled
My 2021 Ranger Lariat gets towed behind my RV & hook up to the RV for lights (brake & turn signals). All works well.
I bought a bike rack this summer & made sure I got the extra lights for turn signals & brakes, as the bikes block the tail lights, via 4 pin trailer connector. They work fine while hauling the bikes.
However, when I hook this configuration up to pull the Ranger behind my RV, with the bikes mounted on bike rack, the rear 4 pin connector gets disabled along with the Ranger tail lights.
I have to disconnect the bike rack in order to get the vehicle tail lights to work.
Is there a work around of this "feature"?
