I am about to cut the connection to my horn.

On my 97 XLT the alarm will just go off for no reason about 4 times a day it is really making me angry because I can't lock my doors or it will randomly go off.

Anyone know what could be causing this? and I know I am not pushing the panic button for sure

and it is the factory alarm system

Check to switches for the doors and hood.

I've had the hood switch go out a couple times, more than likely because I let my hood slam down instead of gently closing it.
