does anyone know if putting 9005 bulbs in the 01-03 ranger factory fogs is safe? i ran a seperate circut with 12 guage wire, and fused really good.

has anyone attempted this before?

The extra wiring is not even neccessary. You can drop 9005's in with no other worries. Just don't be using the extra high wattage ones. Standard 9005 wattage is about 65 watts. Do not exceed that.

o ok, just wanted to know that before i dropped $40.00 on some silverstars........

that is what i am using. you might have to moddify the tabs on the bulbs just a LITTLE to get them to fit

i had to dremel a little bit off of one of the tabs to fit in, but it sure makes a difference at night having the extra wattage
