Open the hood and on the passenger side ,on the fire wall, will be the blower motor.Looking at it,down below it and just to the right is a plug with ~5 wires. That is the blower resistor for the lower speeds and most likely the connections in that plug are corroded away.
The resistor is held in with two screws.
You can get a new resistor but I'm not sure about the plug. I replaced mine with 1/4 inch female disconnects.

ditto…
Try the cleaning first then look at a new Resistor/Connector/Female Spade Lugs.

Not sure if there is write up on the Spade Lug change over but you need to mark the wire for location (must do, not sure if they are numbered or lettered), cut off the connector, crimp and solder the lugs to the wires and solder to the connectors, applied heat shrink with adhesive inside to seal it all up (after checking your work and running the heater).

Blower resistor replacement kit

The resistor itself is generally available at places like Autozone or Advance Auto stores. In my case, the terminals on the resistor and the plug (pigtail) for "speed 2" were corroded beyond repair, so I needed to replace both, and the pigtail is a little harder to find. Dorman sells a kit (their part no. 973-411), that includes both the resistor and the pigtail, which I ordered online from Advance Auto. To install the pigtail, you'll have to cut the wires to the old pigtail (keeping track of which wires go to which connections!), and splice them to the replacement pigtail.
