Grille Guard w/a Body Lift?

I have a grille guard on the way, I've been reading alot of posts and wondering if I would encounter any problems installing a body lift. I just read a post where someone requested brackets fab'd to (I guess?) line the grille guard back up to where it should be. Any thoughts?

Of course since the guard bolts the the frame if you lift the body off the frame you will need to move the guard up with it(with new mounts of some sort)
.

Ya, basically you have to add 3 inches of material to the stock brackets, im not sure how your grill guard mounts, but with my waag bar i had to weld some material onto it.
Its hard to see what you are working with without pix, but it is possible to have the b/l with a front bar....just takes some time to plan out new brackets.

Basically you have to put the lift on, then put the brackets on and see what you have to add to get the bar to work.
If you have access to a welder, you can do it for sure.
If you dont have a welder, you still may be able to do it with bolting the added marerial together.

There really is no what to see what you have to do without putting the lift on then looking, unless someone else has done it.

I have the full Westin Grille Guard that looks like Michael's. I am looking into a 3 inch PA BL as well. I take it I better meet a welder?

Yes...or you can customize your brackets with bolt on pieces...but ya, it wont line up with the body lift.
