LED Fog Light with OEM Switch and Mounting

The lenses on my 06 are pretty faded, and instead of cleaning them up I'd like to improve the light output with LED pods.

The 06 bumper has the square fog light holes so I'll look for square pods similar to these.

I would like to use the factory switch, is there anything specific I should do to wire it up that way? I'd hate to have to cut the old bulb out, would prefer something reversible even though I doubt that could happen.

The other challenge is mounting, are there any tips to mounting LED pods in the stock location and hardware?
