Bolt size for battery tie down
Anyone know what the size of the bolt for the battery tie down is stock in an 04 ranger? I just got a yellow top and haven't used that little plastic piece and bolt in a few years. It seems to have gone missing.

its got a 8 mm head on it.. as far as length maybe 4 or 5 in long. n like a 4mm by whatever thread pitch.. not sure

on my 99 it's a 8mm head. Doubt it changed at all.

M6x1.00 thread special long shoulder bolt with the captive plastic wedge. Why not just get the assembly at a Ford dealer or a junkyard?

Because a bolt is cheaper. The yellow top came with the plastic wedge. Thank for the reply. I think I even already have a 6x1.00
