ABS help

I'm trying to figure out if I have a faulty abs wheel speed sensor and which one it is. When I come to a stop at slow speeds or sudden panic stop on dry pavement, the drivers side wheel intermittently locks up and is very short like the abs pulsing. The passenger side seems to operate normally. So which wheel speed sensor is bad? Or could this be something else?

I 2nd the wheel bearing possibility. Im pretty sure the speed sensor is inside the bearing assy.
Also, It depends, are you 4x4 or 2wd?

yep you have a seperate sensor for the ABS...on some of the 00 and all of the 01-current 4x4s the sensor is part of the hub and you have to replace the whole thing...but you can just replace the sensor

I can by the hub and sensor combined for $130 or $102 for the sensor alone, wouldn't I be better off to change the whole thing?
