keyless entry touchpad

some of yall might know about this but i just found out and thought there might be others that would be interested. i have wanted the keyless entry number pad on my truck for a long time. my dads 250 and my stepmoms expedition both has it and i have wanted one for a long time. well steeda makes one that works with the transmitter like the keyfob. so basically if you have power locks and have keyless entry you can use this... pretty sweet little toy.

^If thats true than I may seriously look into that. Call me a wimp, but cutting into my door never really apeased me.

It doesn't need to be on the door, so you can put it somewhere else if you like. Installation is peel and stick. No wires because it transmits like an RKE fob. The battery is supposedly good for 100,000 cycles.

this looks like a good idea, i locked my keys in my truck once and this would eliminate that from happening again.

how well do the stick-on one's hold up???? i'd be worried that someone would accidentally rip if off... or in the winter, accidentally wipe at it and knock it loose or off

I'm sure that it would stay on very well as long as you clean the surface and use wax remover before installing it. That is a lot of adhesion surface area for the weight that it needs to support.
