ABS light

idk guyz. my light has been on for a week now

how do i get it to go away!?

black electrical tape on the gauge cluster.

That happened to me several years ago. I went to the dealer, and was told that I needed a new ABS ECU (I think). The tech said that sometimes the truck's computer gets "confused" like a PC, so he reset the light and told me to come back if it showed up again - never did

Wow dude, you should get that looked at ASAP!

You're life and others lives are at risk here!




LOL take the cluster out and pull the bulb.
There might be a way to put a rwabs module in it but I'm not sure, best person to ask would be Bob.

Replace the rear end speed sensor and reset the computer.

Its a 20 dollar part. If this is not the problem the press further into diagnostics.

FYI, your typical code scanner cant read the abs codes.

He no longer has the stock suspension in the front.

Ask beard what he did, I'm sure he will help out.

hahahaha

what exaclty is that supposed to mean? and now that i have very little up travel.. yes i use the brakes quite frequently so i don't jar my body any more than i have to lol
