abs and traction control dash lights are on

Hey guys I just recently put new rims and tires on my 2011 ranger. After driving the truck for a day the tire pressure light, the yellow abs light, and traction control lights came on. I then releared the tpms sensors which got rid of the tire pressure light but the abs and the traction control lights are still on.

I have already tried disconnecting the battery but the lights keep coming back on. Any input or tips would be greatly appreciated as I dont have a code reader and I dont want to have to take it into ford. Thanks.

ABS and Traction control both rely on the wheel sensors working, I would first visually inspect each wheel sensor's connection to make sure one wasn't unplugged or loosened by the wheels being changed.

And it could be something as simple as a fuse, sensors are often powered by separate fuse than the sensors "control module".
My ABS light came on one time and it turned out my brake lights were also out, blew the brake light fuse, replaced it and brakes lights worked and ABS light went off

It was the left rear abs sensor. My ebrake failed a couple months ago and was repaired under warranty but I guess ford didn't notice the sensor had been damaged. The part is nowhere to be found in canada right now so I have to wait 6 weeks for one to be brought in :(

Thanks for the update.

Very odd for 4 year old vehicle(2011) parts being in short supply, but on the plus side that means they must not fail very often.

Or if you are a pessimist it means they fail alot and Ford ran out of them, lol.
