New rotors for '04 Ranger 2wd
Hello all,
I'm a newb to the forums and working on my Ranger. I'm far from a mechanic, but have had a crash course in all sorts of repairs from a previous vehicle ('90 300ZX TT).
Here is my situation. I am replacing my rotors and pads. After a bit of research, it seems that my new rotors will come with new races already seated. I've also found that I should replace the races when installing new bearings, as they are matched to the ones they come with. Wouldn't this mean that I can't keep the old bearings even if in good shape? I guess I just don't see why the new rotors would come with new races, but not bearings to match.
Can someone give this newb a spoon-feed? Or am I actually making sense?
Thanks for your time :)

I only have ~25k on it, but I've had to brake rather hard on it more than a few times. The pads started squealing long ago and it vibrates badly on braking. You think it might be something other than rotors?
