trailer wiring prob.

hey guys
yes i have searched and found nothing
ever since ive had my truck the trailer wiring has been messed up i believe i have a factory harnes as i do not have a t connector or spliced in
my problem is the driver side turn indicator and brake light dont work (yellow wire) but every thing else works fine so i have tested with a voltmeter the connector and poked into the wire a little farther up and still no power
ive read there can be corrosion in the box under the driver seat but have no clue which connector it would be (yellow wire i assume) so could some post pics or a diagram of the box so i can check that and could some one also tell me how to get to that box b4 i start rippin and tearin my truck apart
thanks Jordan
ps. any other suggestions on what the prob could be would be great too

That 'box' is a connector. You crawl under the truck and remove the screw and unplug it.Then check the pins for any corrosion.Coat the inside of the plug with dielectric grease before putting it back together.

did that and the pins were clean as a whistle....
so i tried hooking up the trailer to a different truck and now all the lights on the trailer dont work properly so now i have a big mess because my dad thought it was the trailer wiring so he spliced in a new connector but still does the same thing with my truck that it did b4 but doesnt work at all with the other truck
i know it could be a grounding issue on the trailer but the trailer never had a ground so now im completely lost and have no idea what the problem is so please help me out
