On a 1995 (built 08/1995) Ranger - can someone tell me if airbag system trouble codes (code #12 - low voltage) Do these codes automatically clear/reset when issue is resolved OR do they require a scan tool to clear them manually?

This trouble code was set when the battery was failing. We replaced the battery BUT the low voltage code (the light flashes one single flash then pause then two more flashes) still persist. That's why I was asking if it requires a scan tool to manually clear the code?

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated 🙂
