Welcome to the forum

Your UK Ranger it a T6 International Ranger so is a different truck that the ones we have here in the Colonies

That being said my wiring diagram for our Rangers does show each Low beam head light having its own fuse, in engine fuse box, 10amp for each side, left and right.

And then there is also the DRL(daylight running lights) Module which turns on the Low beams when ever you are driving.

First thing would be to test the low beam bulbs, yes both could be burned out.

From my diagram the low beam power runs like this

Battery-------30amp fuse---------head light switch-------multi-function switch-----10amp fuse------low beam headlight

The 30amp fuse also powers the high beams, so should be OK

DRL module use a 20amp fuse to power low beams directly, doesn't run through headlight switch or multi-function switch, but it's power does run through each 10amp fuse, one for each headlight.

High beam power runs directly to multi-function switch, doesn't pass thru headlight switch

So problem could be in the head light switch or multi-function switch.

Multi-function switch is the turn signal stalk.
