Icon5 1992 Ranger windshield washer coupler (below sprayer) - what is this part called?

Attached are two photos of a small segment of tubing and a coupler that goes from the windshield washer reservoir and pump up to the small sprayer below the windshield itself. A spongy rubber (?) coupler (the fat cylinder at one end of the photos shown, it's about 1-1/4" OD, 1-1/4"long, and 3/8" ID) has degraded over the (31) years since new, and no longer remains attached to the sprayer. The reservoir, pump, delivery tubing and sprayer itself are all in good shape.

What is this part called (so that I can go about buying a replacement assembly or coupler)?

Thank you for any advice (including requests for clarification or moving this post to a more appropriate area within ranger-forums.com which I'm happy to do.)
