Bed/Cargo Light Where's The Switch
1999 Mazda B3000 (3 litre), Standard rear wheel drive.
Been going over some little things and I would like these to work. The bulbs were all burnt out, the centre brake light too. That works with a new bulb, but not the bed lights. I've read the dimmer dial on the dash next to the head light switch is supposed to turn it on, but either end of its travel doesn't yield a "Click" to turn them on. (maybe its broken ?) Dome light control does nothing, but it works. Checked out the owners manual here on this forum and it doesn't list what fuse its under _ wiring diagram in the Hayes manual is quite useless. Just short of tracing wires with a meter, which would take a very long time. Knowing what turns them on would be very helpful, at least I could start at that switch _ or which fuse ??? Thanks |
Found it, it's on the dash dimmer switch, I have to push it very hard.
I don't like the fact that all three dome lights come on too. There's a separate switch for that on the dome light, why on the dash as well. Probably why the former owner removed all the dome lights. |
And it's fuse 26 in the cab ;)
I blew my fuse this week when i cobbled together the LED's in the cargo light i just fitted. |
