Man didn't take step by step pic but i did record the final look... i'll make a video and post it up and since i have a three socket bulbs
1st being a signal
2nd being a brake
3rd being a reverse
i cut the ground off the (2nd) brake light and soldered it together with the pulse signal power from the (1st) signal light.

this is more than likely your problem. a light needs a source and a ground to work. if you take the ground away, it's not going to work right.

Follow the wiring on the attached link and you'll be o.k.

Don't be afraid to search on here, pretty much EVERYTHING has been done before and answered in one way or another.
Good luck!

I'm just as confused as you here.....LOL What exactly did you do? Sounds like you had a 2 bulb set-up and changed it to a 3 bulb set-up, but were not sure as how to do it correctly.

I got a 99 and it already has the three lights. What I did was cut the ground off the brake light and connect it to the pulsing signal of the blinker wire so they could alternate blinking. But when I have all my lights on, have a blinker on and brake it does double the blink.
