tach question

ok i have a 95 ranger 5spd that does not have a tach and was wanting to put a new cluster in it that has a tach in it. my question is does anyone know if i am going to have to rewire it to make the tach work or is my truck prewired for the tach? also which clusters should i try to find so that it is a plug and play install? thanks for the help.

I have the same issue with my 2000. Only I might put in an after market tach.

Thanks for the links, however my problem is hopefully resolved. I purchased a cluster that has a tach in it from a member here yesterday. I am looking forward to hooking it up and seeing it in action.
Thanks again:
Scott
