anyone know exactly where it is on my truck? or have any pictures of where it is located? have seen pics and read of where it is on other trucks (near hood release) cant seem to find it anywhere under in that area. thanks

 

its under the dash on the driver side toward the center of the truck. there's a black rectangle cover you have to take off and then you'll see a blue square (most likely) that looks like a relay

 

Look directly under the steering column and up under the dash. The relay may be black as well, my original one was black in my 01 Edge. Seems they went blue in 02+.
If there is more then 1 relay in there, it'll be the top one (also the largest).
