Blue White remote wire to Power Amp. Question

I'm adding a power amp to my stereo. 93 Ranger XLT. I have a Question about the Blue White Remote wire for the Power Amp.

Do I splice into the blue white wire having both wires intact. Or do I just clip off the blue white remote wire from the adapter harness and just join it to the power amp. Hope I'm not confusing anybody.

So your 1993 had a Premium sound system with a remote amplifier
I have only ever seen a dark blue wire for the "logic mute" not a blue/white wire, but could be

If you are not going to use Ford remote amp then just cut it, if you are using both then splice it

Then 1993 Ranger ID won't help

You would need to post brand and model of radio you are using, so we would know what the blue/white wire is for

Pioneer DEH3700mp.
The blue/white stripe remote turn on wire has a number of other names such as accessory wire, system remote control wire, etc… ... This wire is typically for power antenna or factory amplifier turn on.

When you utilize the blue/white wire located on the radio cluster, and power on the radio, it acts as a switch, and turns the power amp on.

I'm thinking I have to tap into the blue/white wire now. It makes sense.
