2010 Ranger -- Air Filter hard to get to?
Hi Guys, I'm new here, but I've seen a number of helpful posts to help me get to know my new (used) 2010 Ranger.
I've been going through it checking a few things (got new tires for it, put new plugs into it, etc) and I found that it's really hard to get the air filter cover off.
There are two tubes (either A/C or Coolant?) that go above it in my 2010 XLT, and it's pretty hard to just pull the cover off the air filter. It's pretty square and boxy. I could maybe pull it farther in away from the other lines, but I'd hate to end up tearing the rubber attachment that goes all the way to the main engine area.
It's a 4 banger.
Any tips for this? I hate paying shops to change a thing like an air filter, so I hope I can do this one.
Thanks for reading,
