Bulb Replacement Guide

So you've got a bulb blown and don't know what it is to replace it with? Well here you'll find a complete listing off all the bulbs for your entire truck, bumper to bumper. Not all years are listed, but it goes the same for all years in each generation. (ie. 2000 Ranger listed applies for 1998-2000 Generation 4's)

Always consult your owners manual. However, it doesn't list the bulb descriptions for EVERY light bulb on the truck! This, however, does!

Bulb Fitment Guide!

so i'm sure we all wonder from time to time, "what bulb goes here?" i found this helpful tool on sylvania's website that will tell you... all you have to do is enter the year, make and model, and it flat out lists all the bulbs for your truck/car i know i am going to find this useful to make a list of all the bulbs i need, to replace them all with LED

OSRAM SYLVANIA - Replacement Guide - Start

also note, that bulb numbers GENERALLY do not need the letter suffix, after the number, the letters are usually a brand specific code, meaning long life bulb or sometimes LED... with the exception of forinstance 1157NA where the NA means amber bulb. Red bulbs will have a similar suffix, but i forget what it is at current. not all bulbs fall into this simple classification though, and the letter could mean something specific of the placement... Also i should mention that if you are currently using an 1156 bulb for a turn signal on the front of your vehicle, and you wanted to go to an amber bulb, because you are putting clear lenses on, it would be a 1156NA, the number is the firment, and it will be identical for the standard bulbs (194/149/219/1156/1157/1175 ect) they will fit others with the same number, but the colour may be different.

I should also include this chart, which may prove useful to some people (even though i don't understand it)

I noticed you did not have dash lights listed for 2004 & newer. I just replace mine and had a hard time trying to find out the correct bulb. (after popping my dash out three times I am perty fast at it) I do like the traditional look of the dash. didn't go with LED. The bulb is a "T 1.5" base. Sylvania # 2721

Front turn signals should be 3157. Not 3457. This is at least true for my 2009 Ford Ranger Sport.

I came back and looked at this and realized I was wrong. I was thinking of the corner light for my truck.

I have no idea how to delete or edit the previous post.

Instrument panel warning light bulbs, part #????

I have a 2003 Ford Ranger Edge Plus 4dr 4x4 4L with a couple of warning bulbs burned out. I cannot find the correct part number for the warning light bulbs in the instrument panel ..... all I can find is how to pull my dash apart to replace the 194 bulbs (which don't need to be replaced) I need to replace the warning light bulbs. When I went to a Ford Dealer they wanted $27 a bulb and wouldn'tgive me a part#.... REALLY?? When I look online I cannot seem to find the correct bulbs. Auto parts stores don't seem to carry them and Autozone couldn't tell me what the correct part number would be...... I did find the following part F57Z-13B765-BA which looks like it is the bulb and socket I need, HOWEVER, when I check Ford part stores they say it WON'T fit my truck.

OSRAM SYLVANIA - Replacement Guide DOESN'T list the bulb needed AND the Bulb Replacement Guide post DOESN'T include this bulb and socket.

Instrument cluster

Hey All,

I have a 2011 2WD sport, recently the bulbs in my instrument cluster started fading out. I've tried looking online and even calling Ford to find out the bulb #. Does anyone have any insight on what bulb it may be ?

I replaced my dash lights with T5 LED's. I also got some new twist lock sockets for the T5's. You can reuse the ones from your original bulbs if you like.

I would also recommend you get the warm white LED's. They stay the truest to the stock color but are brighter. Regular white LED's will make the colors on your dash looked washed out. You can use the same bulb in your dome light.

So I have a '99 B4000. Every listing shows an H3 for the fog light, but my truck is nothing like that. It looks the 9145 or 9006, What is the difference between the 9145 and 9006?

Edit: Google tells me that the 9145 is 45 watts and 9006 is 55 watts. Is that it?

I recently replaced my fogs and used a 9006 bulb. It was the bulb that fit my 98' B3000 and should hopefully fit yours. Sorry if I'm a little late to the party lol.

Well you don't have to go crazy about that too much. You should be able to take any light assembly within 10 year period of that vehicle and put it on the tail light assembly for the tailgate. Without having to splice wires or cut wires. The plug is built in such a ways you can actually take it apart take a plug you have for the lights that you just bought but the wires in the same color combination. I will lie you got lights from a 2001 on a 96
