A/C always on

A/C always on

No matter what I select the A/C is always on. Just started happening yesterday.

people just don't have a sense of humor now days...


check your HVAC control panel
it could be anything from your **** being stripped out or cracked, or you just have a bad switch on the panel...

even could be a bad relay...

go through with a voltmeter and check the circuit

Your A/C is always on as in you have no heat or you hear the compressor cycling?

The ac runs in every position other than floor only and vent only.

Check your AC relay, had the same thing happen to mine.

I have a 2006 Ranger, mine does the exact same thing. It was driving me nuts so I replaced the switch. No luck. I finally decided that it was supposed to work that way...I would like to know for sure.

Thank you. Checked it out yesterday and that is how it worked.
Wife took the truck last Friday and I was trying to blame it on her. No luck I guess I'll have to find something else to make me mad at her. LOL

Some people put in a toggle switch in so they can turn it off and on when they want.
