Please Help

My automatic 4 wheel drive isnt working and its snowing out now. Is there a fuse for this? I installed a 3" bodylift over the summer and am thinking this probably has something to do with my problem but I did check all the conections and are ok. When I switch to on theres nothing so I assume its not getting power?

There is at least 1 fuses for your 4x4. Get in your truck manual and look up the fuse.

When you try to engage your 4x4 do you hear it trying to click over?

I've heard tapping the 4x4 shift motor sometimes helps it click over.

Ok I guess it wasnt the fuse. I turned the switch to 4x4 today and it didnt work, but then it did. I heard some clicking under the dash so there is somethin wrong with the switch?. Would installing a BL effect anything to do with the 4x4 mudule? Its intermitant for some reason. any ideas? Thanks

You might have a vacume leak causing the hubs not to engage but i dont think the op has vacume hubs.

When i had that problem i had two broken vacume lines under the hood you could start at the hubs and trace the vacume lines back until you find it maybe but im not really sure other than that.

My problem is electrical im almost sure of. I either bumped something (wire)? under the dash when putting in my stereo or while installing my BL. Right now its in 4wd and thats what I need now so I aint gonna mess with it till the weekend.

Did you make check the wires on the back of the radio bezel ? The ones that plug into the switch make sure you didn't like not fully plug them in or something....?

I did check the switch/plug and its plugged in right. I guess theres a module in cab area drivers side I need to check since I had torn that area apart to do the bl. It sucks that somethin goes wrong when theres snow and cold as hell out. 2 weeks ago it was 60* but nooo... cant go wrong then.
