Ok, i have 2002 ford ranger. 2.3 xlt 4X2 with 5 speed. about 6 months or more the clucth hub fell off the A/C compressor. i finally got one and installed it got the clearance around .035" like spec and the AC will work til the motor gets at operating temp. then when i get to a light the idle will drop to about 600 and the AC will try to come on i see the tach drop to around 400 then AC disengages. if i keep the idle high manualy the ac will kick on and stay on, if i don't it will try to come on bring rpm down kick off and after a couple times of this won't come back on. i took it to AutoZone and they put code reader on it and not codes found. when i go back out the next day does the same thing.. any ideas?
