In Cab Reverse Trigger Wire

In Cab Reverse Trigger Wire

Any body know where I can pick up a 12v source that come on with reverse, in the cab on a2003 ranger? trying to avoid running more wire then necessary to go all the way back to the tail lights.

Look in the bundle of wires that drops down from near the center of the dash to run under the carpet on the left side of transmission tunnel. The black/pink in that bundle is the switched hot to the reverse lights.

put a relay on it im using this wire but i tested it and was only reading 10 piont something volts on it was a little nerveous to use it but just wired and a relay and havent had a problem yet

Yep already plan to it is only for a signal wire.

im using mine to trigger my in dash to switch to rearview aswell as power the rearview camera so a relay was a must for me
