Can I see some HID fogs? Opinions wanted..

I already have 8000ks in my headlights. I'm considering picking up some 9154's for fog lights. However I'm debating on going with something like 3000ks for the yellow look, or 8000ks to match the headlights...

Which do you have? Hows the light output?

i like the 3000k sometimes.. it looks way better on a truck your color in my opinion.

Smurf Blue!

(looks good but too many thuggies have the blue ones near me, so I am 6000K only)

Thanks for the pics. HID fogs or the quad off-road lights is what I'm considering...(photoshop)

I'd do 3k in the fogs, 4300/5k in the off-road lights (when you get them), and leave your headlights.

EDIT - Never mind the HID in the off-road light part.

I say get you some Halogen 3000K yellow fogs and add the off-road lights

rangerboy101 12-12-2008 10:04 PM

i would get the offroad lights. they would look good on your truck imo.

Do you want a lot of extra light? Four offroad lights will light up a pretty far ways away depending on how you aim them and what pattern you get. If it were me, I would just buy some Silverstar bulbs for the fogs and do the light bar/lights. I miss having my four Hellas on my truck.

Yes looking for a ton of extra light, also would like some high beams to be able to 'flash' if need be. I'm moving back out to the desert, I'll be going out at night a few times I bet.

Hmmm..go look at the how to section and find the HID how to and there is a great example of fog hids.. my fog hids should be here this week.

Here's my HID how-to with a fog light section...

I highly suggest 3000k or 4300k. 3000k(yellow) cuts through fog a crap ton better than anything white or blueish. BUT...if you experience no fog or snow, i think you'd be fine with matching your heads and fogs.
