If you have Body Lift + Efan = Radiator relocation back to stock?

For a while now I have been thinking about moving my radiator back to the stock location since the body lift has you move it down 3" with relocation brackets. The purpose of the relocation brackets are to keep the mechanical fan and shroud lined up.

Now that i have an efan the shroud is no longer needed, so i lifted the radiator back into the stock location.

In order to do this had to remove abut 1/2" of hose off the lower radiator line to keep it from kinking. i had to bend the tranny cooler lines some to keep them from coming in contact with the belt system also.

The result.
I have a heines adapter which is mounted in the outbound radiator hose. in this adapter i have a water temp sensor mounted which reads my outbound water temp.

at 60*-65* as the temperature.

At full warm up and country driving 50-60mph the average outbound temp is 150* before I moved the radiator back to the stock location.

Now with the radiator moved back to the stock location i am getting a reading of 125* with relatively the same conditions as stated above.

What’s this mean? Cooler temperatures mean my efan runs less which is always good and my radiator no longer hangs below the frame.

Great idea Zach, I am going to look at that this weekend when we are doing the LEDs and see what I can do with it.
