Brake squealing problems.

Basically as im driving around I hear a squealing that goes ~~~~~ in a pattern like a wave. I removed the front rotors, brake pads. Corrected some wear that was messed up, cleaned off chunks of crap all over, then threw them back on.

Can people give me tips as to what could make this squealing i cant get rid of? its not rocks or worndown pads. It is somewhere in the front suspension. I'm pretty sure its on the left side.

If my rotor was warped, could it make a squealing noise?

Thanks guys,

Aaorn

Would it be safe for me to take out the brake pads on the front left side and drive aroudn the block once? I want to see if it goes away with no contact to the rotor.

anyways i know they're gonna charge me some obscene amount like $100 bucks for turning rotors...

I turned rotors, they could turn rotors while doing something else. A machine does the damn work.

not in Juneau AK :-( Everything's expensive here.

This guy at a brake shop offered 490 to replace front shoes and rotors a few months back. He told me they were 15% left and i recently looked at them and had a good 70% left

Aaron....you whiner. Just wait till you get to Murderapolis and see how much shops charge to do stuff like that! Having rotors turned is cheap. I know that at the Napa you can bring there and they either do it there or they send them out and have them back like the next day all for like $20

Ya tard my city is landlocked. Everything is shipped or flown out! I'll replace them when i get down there most likely. Might as well use old rotors/pads to drive the 2600.
