Hey guys, I tried to replace the cluster bulbs on my 2004 Ranger Edge using one of the how to guides listed here. They were perfect for getting the cluster out but now that its out, I found that the bulbs aren't the same and, I can't figure out how to remove them from the panel. A point in the right direction as to the correct bulb model (I used the 194 listed here) and replacement procedure would be much appreciated. Thanks for taking a look and/or your input.

 

hey did you ever find the right size bulbs for your ranger? i also have a 04 edge and wanted to change to LED. what sizes did you use?

 

as you can see from the lack of responses, no I did not. I did end up getting replacement bulbs from a junkyard out of a wrecked 04 ranger.

 

Couldn't you take one of the bulbs you removed, take it to Autozone/Advance/other local parts store and match it up? I've never read on here of a Ranger that did not take the 194 type bulb for illumination in the cluster. I remember seeing photos on here of a 2004+ dash cluster too, so the information is out there.
