Cleaning the throttle body?

Cleaning the throttle body?
Now I know this question has been asked before so hopefully you guys can give some advise. Our throttle bodies have some kind of ford voodoo coating on them but I can clearly see carbon build up from the retarded EGR system in the body bore. What is the best way to clean them without hurting the coating?

When I worked at Ford we just used regular throttle body cleaner.
